• Fredrick Olson is a 30-year executive operator who has built and scaled multi-pillar platforms that power sports, community, and performance. As Founder and CEO of Comets Sports LLC, he leads a vertically integrated sports innovation platform spanning venue operations, athlete performance services, hospitality, technology, and community programming — partnering with municipalities, universities, and private operators to transform underperforming sports assets into high-impact, economically sustainable destinations.
• As Principal GP of a new Lower Middle Market PE Fund, Fredrick applies an operator-first investment thesis to acquire, operate, and grow sports-focused businesses across Sunbelt and high-growth U.S. markets. His dual role as platform builder and fund GP gives him a rare vantage point to source, diligence, and operate assets others overlook — creating measurable value through operational uplift, technology integration, and multi-pillar revenue diversification.

• Microsoft — Director, Program Management Industry Solutions: Financial Services and Sports Media & Entertainment. Led Azure-based architecture and complex enterprise program delivery for global clients.
• Accenture — Digital Delivery Lead & Technology Architect: Led $100M+ technology programs, cloud migrations, and large-scale carve-outs. Modernized 250+ engineering and IT applications for global automotive and enterprise clients.
• Dell Technologies — Digital Engineering Director: Directed global product engineering and eCommerce platforms. Led a 150-person cross-functional team transformation to modern omni-channel architecture, interfacing across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
• Amazing Technologies / Zivra / Akyzen— Founder & CTO: Launched and scaled three technology and consulting ventures focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and connected product platforms.
• PE Fund (Lower Middle Market)— Principal GP: Active investor and operating partner focused on sports-adjacent buyouts and roll-ups. Sources deals, leads diligence, and partners with operators to scale revenue and EBITDA.

Personal

•  Fredrick is married to Caroline and they have three boys attending Highland Park ISD in DFW area.  He played NCAA Division I soccer at Duquesne University and actively volunteers coaching youth soccer in the community.
